See, this is what we mean…

So a bunch of people showed up in Reno to suggest that taxing mining royalties after the industry deducts a bunch of stuff leaves Nevada holding the (empty) bag, and the mining companies holding the gold, even when the price of gold is going through the roof because the economy is in the end times.

But because adjusting that mining levy would be a “tax,” it’s already off the table.

This is what we were saying yesterday: What’s the point of asking people for their ideas if you’ve already rejected what they’re going to say?

One Response to “See, this is what we mean…”

to get change, sometimes you have to be consistent, and obnoxious, and persistent.

The Civil Rights Movement didn’t happen in a day, and the people that resisted their efforts often said “many things are off the table”.

If you keep up the fight, and keep the pressure on, people will listen.
