Nevada Republicans inept, say national Republicans

We’re pretty sure, of all the terms that Nevada Republican Party Chairwoman Sue Lowden wanted to see used to describe the state party under her tenure, “inept” was not her first choice. Alas, that’s what happens when you mess with the well-organized and passionate followers of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul.

Hey, here’s a thought. Why not just send the Ron Paulites to the Twin Cities for the Republican convention next week? John McCain is going to get nominated no matter what, right? If he wins, and the inevitable disaster occurs, Nevada’s GOP can say, “Don’t blame us; we voted for Paul!” If McCain loses to Barack Obama, Nevada’s GOP can say, “Don’t blame us; we voted our principles.”

It’s a win-win, Republicans!

One Response to “Nevada Republicans inept, say national Republicans”

Steverino,
“Don’t blame us; we voted our principles.”

Now THAT statement is based on an unfounded assumption. Outrageous!
